Since purchasing the building in 2009, the Ledge has been envisioned as a space for the Rock Church to bring the good news of Jesus to the community of Squamish. We hope that real relationships, a space that is inviting and hospitable, and good events showed the genuineness of what He has done and how amazing Jesus is.

Our History

The Ledge was created with a vision to serve the community of Squamish. The building - previously a art gallery - was purchased to be turned into an discipleship/events/cafe/ministry center. Many ideas fit into one space! The name “the Ledge” was created on the idea of a Ledge referring to a safe place of refuge while climbing. To be a place where everyone belongs. To be a place where Jesus could be made known through common connections that everyone loves like coffee, art, and music. We have had a few different chapters throughout the years. Different amazing people running the Ledge have helped to add different touches and inspirations to what the Ledge has meant to the community. All of these versions have been birthed and started by the Rock Church - and all of them have been for the community with the purpose of making Jesus known.
